Saint Joseph workshop is a workshop where bamboo objects are created and fabricated. It is located in Sapang village, in Talim Island, not far from Manila, the capital of the Philippines.
We produce household articles such as lamps, plates, candlesticks, vases, table accessory, as well as jewelry, toys and small furniture. We can also realise custom-made orders, since we are flexible to satisfy our client's desires. All our articles are produced manually, using local materials (bamboo, hemp, osier,...), since we wish to respect the environment.
The workshop is one of the social projects of the NGO “Tiberiade Community Foundation, Incorporated”. This workshop gives a stable job to about twenty people without qualification, coming from the poorer families. The workshop provides social security and health insurance as well. Humbly, and with the means at its disposition, Saint Joseph Workshop tries to fight poverty and to change the world.
